Purpose, as its page states it
The committee is a result of the No Evictions Without Representation ballot measure passed by voters in November 2020. Committee members will share their experiences as renters in the City of Boulder to advise the implementation of the Eviction Prevention and Rental Assistance Services (EPRAS) program within the context of residential housing. Specifically, the committee's purpose is to: Provide input on effective strategies and programs to engage residents most affected by inequities in rental housing disparities. Assist with community outreach efforts to ensure tenants facing eviction have access to EPRAS services. Provide recommendations on what existing city and community programs could be expanded with additional funding or funded in future years. Help to ensure that the ordinance is being carried out as intended. Help define desired outcomes and key indicators that should be tracked to measure success. Meetings are open to the public and includes time for public comment. Currently meetings are virtual and the link to attend is posted on the morning of the meeting.

- Appointed by
- City Manager. Selected by city staff, not by council: BRC 12-2-9 names no appointer and has the City Manager's Office (with the City Attorney's Office) staff the committee; staff run rolling recruitment, applications and interviews, and in 2025 a proposal to enlarge the committee waited on the City Manager's Office. The committee is not part of council's annual boards and commissions appointments. source source source

A news summary written before the November 2020 vote. BRC 12-2-9(c) as adopted names no appointer, the minutes show city staff recruiting and interviewing, and the committee is not in council's annual appointments; the formal appointer is still unconfirmed.
- How
- Rolling, staff-run: application rounds and interviews when seats open (2023: applications due end of March, interviews in April, new members seated in May), with alternates identified from the applicant pool; members are tenants who own no real property. The committee elects its own chair and deputy chair. · as vacancies arise (not the council's annual cycle) source source source as of 2023-02-23
